Bio

Kelly Little has over 20 years of in the public health sector  managing grants and contracts for federal, state, local, nonprofit, and higher education organizations. Most of her experience has been in the health services education field. Additionally, she has been strategic with recruitment, mentorship, and engagement.

As Project Director I provide day-to-day grants management, finance operations, and curriculum coordination for the Office of Health, Equity, Inclusion and Diversity (OHEID) and Neurology and Developmental Medicine’s (NDM) Center for Diversity in Public Health Leadership Training (CDPHLT). This position partners with leadership to formulate and implement business strategies and policies. Responsibilities include administrative supervision; mentoring, research support; contract management; and assisting with the grant application process. This staff member will enter data, ensure the appropriateness of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation, and manage the CDPHLT program. Responsibilities include CDPHLT scholar recruitment, registration, onboarding; mentorship; database management; training; reporting; schedule coordination; equipment support; information dissemination; and curriculum development. The incumbent will reinforce internal efficiency goals, high customer service standards, and an empowering work environment.
